You can use video input on your tv-tuner only when you stay, hand-brake is on and speed selector in P position. To unlock this you need to cut VSS(speed) cable on the main unit using pinout pageLook at the picture for more details:

hi..great info on the site - thanks. question re overiding the new MMCS (2008) has anyone been able to do it. even after the wire has been cut, the nav system (gps)tells the MMCS that vechicle is moving and shuts off the dvd / video. any ideas appreciated?
